The Commercial Property Manager (PM) is a positive, energetic and outgoing self-starter who has excellent sales and marketing abilities, along with a customer first attitude. The PM aggressively contributes to profitability by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships, and by being committed to customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES The PM position is responsible for the overall appearance of the property along with the leasing of executive suites, industrial buildings, self-storage and parking spaces. This includes the day to day operations of the property, high quality sales calls, tenant/vendor relationships, overseeing maintenance and repair, security, janitorial services and more. You will also quickly respond to the needs of all tenants and manage the delinquency process.

A successful candidate will have experience in Project management (managing vendors, budgeting and exceeding goals) and at least 2 years of retail experience. You will work closely with Sr. leadership, including weekly conference calls to review strategy, capital improvements and operational progress. The PM and their team will be responsible for a multi-million dollar operation. This location is subject to both city and county inspections, so following local ordinance is critical.

Illustrative Examples of Essential Duties: * Answers phones * Releases property to owners, victims, etc. * Disperses petty cash (lunch money, misc. expenses etc.) * Disperses payroll checks * Issues Police equipment to Police Officers and divisions of Police Dept. (such as weapons, radios, mikes etc.) * Transports Police vehicles to and from City Shops (mechanical maintenance) * Processes memos and letters to Police Officers and outside agencies * Maintains inventory on computer spread sheet for monies confiscated by the City * Maintains inventory on computer spread sheet for vast amounts of narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia to be destroyed * Secures narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia for destruction * Corresponds with City Attorney in reference to getting a court order for destruction of narcotics and paraphernalia * Inventories narcotics and paraphernalia pending destruction * Enters all abandoned vehicle tow monies received from tow companies into computer * Maintains inventory on computer spread sheet for confiscated jewelry * Maintains inventory of all equipment issued to Police Officers and support personnel of the Police Department * Takes inventories and maintains appropriate inventory records and prepares inventory reports for distribution * Performs related duties as required Minimum Requirements: * Operate personal computer and receive/disperse money * Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements: * Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact * Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to, word processor, calculator, copier, and fax machine * Some standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, pushing, and pulling For all positions: * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, coworkers, the press the general public and members of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds regardless of race, religion, age, sex, disability, political affiliation, gender identity or sexual orientation. * Ability to serve the public and fellow employees with honesty and integrity in full accord with the letter and spirit of all state, county and city ethics and conflicts of interest policies.
