Lead a dynamic team responsible for loan and deposit pricing, deposit product strategy, and analytics for the commercial bank.

  • Oversee product and pricing managers and analysts responsible for continuous improvements in product/customer profitability, deposit costs and credit spreads

  • Establish competitive and flexible pricing strategies factoring in changes to the rate environment and economic outlook

  • Drive product/portfolio insights that support development of segment strategies and tactics

  • Build and maintain relationship pricing tools and related data environment to evaluate value proposition of lending/deposit balances and ensure relationship profitability exceeds thresholds.

  • Achieve financial growth goals by designing pricing strategies based on competitive dynamics, internal return thresholds and optimal capital allocation.

  • Communicate, coach and collaborate with leaders and sales teams to set expectations, develop tools to support colleagues and ensure profitable pricing discipline.

  • Develop materials and facilitate presentations with executive leadership and board.

  • Manage Commercial Deposit Product and Strategy teams to achieve growth targets agreed to with Business and Finance teams.

  • Create product roadmaps for development/enhancement of the product set to meet evolving needs across specialized industries

  • Establish corporate partnerships (Corporate Treasury, Finance, Digital, Enterprise Payments) to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and development of capabilities.

  • Support financial forecasting process.

  • Manage exception pricing protocols, approvals and deliver transparent reporting and insights.  Includes designing a governance framework that ensures follow-up on client performance.

  • Build and maintain relationship pricing tools and related data environment to evaluate value proposition of lending/deposit balances & ensure relationship profitability exceeds thresholds.

  • Support optimal capital and liquidity allocation by preparing analysis and recommendations for senior leadership underpinned by sophisticated quantitative and statistical methods.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in corporate banking areas including product management and deposit & strategy or services

  • Solid track record of success in participating in large-scale initiatives and strategic projects across various product teams while collaborating across functional groups including sales, service, compliance, risk and legal teams

  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to synthesize "the story" for executive-level audiences and the ability to adjust messages based on different audiences

  • Ability to partner closely with technology on development initiatives

  • Creative problem-solving skills, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions

  • Ability to analyze product financial & market data, with strong attention to detail

  • Proven ability to build, lead and motivate, direct, indirect or project team

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite of products, especially PowerPoint and Excel

  • Bachelors' degree required; MBA is a plus

Compensation Range:

240,000 - 260,000

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
