It's hard to put a price on driving human progress, but when you're operating in a competitive business environment, you need innovative pricing strategies. Our Pricing team within Sales Operations is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating these strategies. We conduct research and competitive pricing analysis and monitor the ongoing business environment to ensure Dell maintains a competitive market position.

Key Responsibilities

This role will support the DFS OpenScale Payment Solutions team in EMEA The purpose of the role is to take end to end ownership of the management of customer contract documentation for Flex On Demand and Data Centre Utility customer engagements, including:

  • Maintaining/keeping up to date the suite of approved template customer contracts for Flex on Demand and Data Centre Utility engagements

  • Supporting teams who may be renegotiating customer contracts

  • Working with OPS pricing and business development leads to populate customer contract documentation with customer specific pricing information and associated pricing conditions and assumptions

  • Directly interacting with DFS Legal, Sales and Customer to facilitating the negotiation and governance of any proposed non-standard commercial conditions, including ensuring these are appropriately documented in customer contracts

  • Assisting of the transition of customer engagement from Presales into Delivery

  • Maintaining oversight of all "in-flight" customer agreements, and providing proactive action/support/advice/guidance for any predetermined contractual events such as

  • Pricing changes (eg contract anniversary price decline), contract changes/additions. renewals & terminations, benchmarking requests and disputes

Essential Requirements

The role requires a hybrid individual with a mix of skills, including

  • An interest and competence in commercial contracts Over time, the role will be required to develop a deep appreciation of the commercial terms of DFS OpenScale Payment Solutions offers, and the contractual representation of such;

  • A sound financial and pricing awareness Again, over time, the role will be required to acquire a good working understanding of the Pricing logic employed by the DFS OPS pricing team , and therefore be able to identify where and when key pricing assumptions need to be reflected in contractual documentatio

  • An ability to operate proactively across multiple virtual teams and geographies and build effective working relationships with a range of other functional roles (DFS OPS Pricing, DFS DCU BDM's, DFS OPS Delivery)

  • Demonstrated competencies in collaboration, negotiation, and strong communication skills

  • In addition to English, the ideal candidate would also have some proficiency in 1-2 European languages German, French, Spanish and or Italian.
