This position is responsible for auditing C&I, SBA and/or Commercial Real Estate loans that have been funded to ensure all required documents are in the file. The incumbent will follow-up on any missing items. This person will also image and upload loan documentation files to the electronic repository.
Carry a pipeline of loans to be audited for completeness.
Track receipt of filed UCC (Uniformed Commercial Code), and check if the required insurance coverage is in place. Ensure real estate documents are recorded. Confirm TCD (Time Certificate of Deposit), Savings, UBIS or UB Trust Accounts are properly held.
Set-up appropriate ticklers on the CLSA system.
Review and prepare advance requests and verify UCC for proper lien position.
Follow-up for UCC terminations. Review final Escrow Closing Statement. Review Title Policies and confirm receipt of all required endorsements.
Prepare, image and/or upload loan documentation files to electronic file repository.
A high school diploma or equivalent education required.
Must have 1-2 years of commercial and real estate loan documentation experience.
Understanding of C&I SBA, and Commercial Real Estate loan documentation.
Knowledge of AFS is highly preferred.
Must have strong organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
