Job Summary:

This position is responsible for auditing C&I, SBA and/or Commercial Real Estate loans that have been funded to ensure all required documents are in the file. The incumbent will follow-up on any missing items. This person will also image and upload loan documentation files to the electronic repository.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Carry a pipeline of loans to be audited for completeness.

  • Track receipt of filed UCC (Uniformed Commercial Code), and check if the required insurance coverage is in place. Ensure real estate documents are recorded. Confirm TCD (Time Certificate of Deposit), Savings, UBIS or UB Trust Accounts are properly held.

  • Set-up appropriate ticklers on the CLSA system.

  • Review and prepare advance requests and verify UCC for proper lien position.

  • Follow-up for UCC terminations. Review final Escrow Closing Statement. Review Title Policies and confirm receipt of all required endorsements.

  • Prepare, image and/or upload loan documentation files to electronic file repository.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education required.


  • Must have 1-2 years of commercial and real estate loan documentation experience.

  • Understanding of C&I SBA, and Commercial Real Estate loan documentation.

  • Knowledge of AFS is highly preferred.

  • Must have strong organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Job Summary: Reporting to the Commercial Credit Services Group (CCSG) Loan Administration Manager, the CCSG Loan Administrator is responsible for carrying a pipeline of loans in process, and prepare loan documentation to reflect approved loan terms and consistency with Bank policy and procedures. Understand Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loan documentation, all applicable Federal regulations and requirements and commercial lending guidelines. Major Responsibilities: 60% Loan Administration: * Perform processing functions for the most complex transactions. * Maintaining ownership of loan file in all aspects from initial due diligence review to loan closing for C&I loans. * Prepare loan documentation to reflect approved loan terms and consistency with Bank policy and procedures as well as compliance with governing regulatory authorities. * Reviewing loan package for accuracy and completeness. Verifies appropriate levels of authority for loan approval. * Obtains and reviews entity documentation to determine authorized signers for legal documentation. * Ensures loan approval conditions are satisfied thoroughly and all lending policy conditions are satisfied and approved by appropriate authorized levels. * Ensures all Bank requirements are met and documented. * Maintains accurate and complete customer communication logs. * Partners with the Credit Executives and Account Officer to resolve issues that arise, and interact with line management on escalations prior to ordering documents or boarding/funding. * Deliver executable loan documents in accordance with Account Officer and borrower requirements. * Responsible for interfacing with Insurance Agents, and obtaining payoff demands to facilitate the loan closing. * Ensure that work is completed within established SLAs. 20%: Loan Closing: * Review executed loan documents to ensure integrity of documents and proper execution. * Responsible for ensuring that the Bank's lien is properly secured and acceptable insurance is obtained, all conditions have been satisfied and signed off by appropriate authorized levels, and coordinate closing and funding of the loan. * Preparation of funding documentation including but not limited to boarding data for data processing system, reconciliation of fees and deposits, and satisfaction of loan compliance issues. 10% - Lead and Influence: * Perform research and make recommendations to Manager as to best practices, process improvements, new product requirements, and system enhancement ideas. * Grow and strengthen internal partnerships by championing the interests of business partners. * Provide extraordinary customer service to internal and external customers, exhibiting competence, consistency, and operational excellence. * Function with a high degree of independence. 10% Risk and Compliance: * Ensure adherence to Bank policies related to credit and compliance, such as: Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance Testing, Risk Management support, due diligence requirements. Qualifications: * Technical knowledge to include a thorough understanding of the commercial loan process, loan accounting, and complex commercial loan documentation. * Ability to work independently and to make informed decisions. * Strong reasoning and analytical skills. * Ability to follow instructions with attention to detail. * Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. * Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office/Word/Excel in the Windows environment. * Strong verbal and communication skills required. * Well-developed communication skills and demonstrated customer service ability. * Able to communicate effectively with all internal business partners and external customers. * Thorough knowledge of bank policies, legal/ regulatory environment, and industry standards. * Typically requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and 7+ years of technical experience in loan documentation and/or documentation.
