American Heritage Credit Union, a $4.8+ billion credit union, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Portfolio Analyst. This position will assist in the analysis and oversight of the Member Business Loan (MBL) Portfolio, post-closing processes, and annual review processes. Provide overall support and assistance for ongoing loan documentation, maintenance of the MBL portfolio, servicing, and administration within the credit union's policies and procedures. Advise the AVP of Risk and Analysis of missing or incorrectly executed loan documents. Ensure that the credit union's collateral is insured and its position is protected.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for assigned portfolios from the AVP of Risk and Analysis.

  • Perform annual credit reviews of existing relationships under $3M, including the preparation of an Annual Review-Credit Memorandum.

  • Track annual reviews to be completed in a timely manner on tracking log.

  • Request annual required financial data from borrowers.

  • Recommend Risk Rating changes to the AVP of Risk and Analysis and track changes appropriately.

  • Instill default rates to non-compliant loans, remove once they become compliant, and track changes appropriately.

  • Monitor and track compliance with financial specific loan covenants and annual financial documents expirations.

  • Establish, monitor, and maintain business loan covenants in a tracking mechanism. Send letters or other communication as needed to the business member in advance of the covenant deadline to ensure receipt and analysis of the business member's compliance to the covenant. Notify the Commercial Lending Manager of any out-of-compliance situations and prepare correspondence to the member of said compliance violation and the actions needed and time frame to correct the infraction.

  • Perform Line of Credit Renewals, including the preparation of a Line of Credit Renewal Memorandum.

  • Perform post-closing audit of the loan ensuring loan documents are accurate, no missing documents, nCino is correct with all information, and ticklers created to follow up on collateral documents.

  • Prepare monthly portfolio reporting on the commercial portfolio using Visible Equity, nCino, and other loan systems as requested by management, the SVP of Commercial Lending, Loan Committee, and Board of Directors.

  • Record, perform maintenance, and monitor all UCC filings, vehicle title, mortgages, and other filings to ensure that they are completed and renewed in a timely manner and the financial interest of the credit union is protected.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One to three years of similar or related experience preferably in Quality Control, Audit Control, or Lending.

  • Strong knowledge of NCUA Business Compliance.

  • Must have excellent analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in servicing individuals, identifying issues, investigating problems, and resolving servicing issues.

  • A significant level of trust, diplomacy, courtesy, and tact are required.

  • Work requires basic knowledge of Symitar and nCino.

  • Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).
