Commercial Policy & Pricing sr. manager - Direct2Consumer
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Define and drive the Pricing Strategy for Philips Direct Online, in close cooperation with the Philips Direct Online team, Businesses, Markets, and functions. You will act as a custodian of the Philips Commercial Policy, which will ensure that Philips Direct Online and our customers are treated equal. You will be challenged to use both your strategic, analytical and abstract thinking skills as well as convincing communication skills to get a diverse group of stakeholders on board and into the defined direction. You will think strategically but are also able to translate this into concrete actions to really drive change.
You are responsible for
As Sr. Commercial Policy & Pricing Mgr. Philips Direct Online (PDO), your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Define the different Pricing Strategies for Philips Direct Online 3 years ahead together with the Philips Direct Online team, selected Businesses and Markets, with strong support of supporting functions (Legal, Finance, SCM, Customer Service, IT, Treasury, etc.)
Integrate the D2C Commercial Policy into the Commercial Strategy of the Philips Direct Online team and deploy and scale to markets leveraging best practices and learnings
Drive awareness and focus on profitability, both on Gross Margin (IGM%) and Variable Margin (IVM%) by streamlining the use of Vouchers, partner pricing on L&I Partnerstores and Employee store sales
Define and initiate the tests of different Pricing/Financing Models such as Lease, installments, solutions, pay per use, bundles, subscriptions, etc. in all HealthTech commercial business models: Business-2-Consumer (B2C), Business-2-Business (B2B), Business-2-Patient (B2P)
Automate Commercial Policy execution though implementing and continuously optimizing our dynamic pricing based on data provided by our tool/platform for Philips Direct Online (you work closely with controller and price elasticity analyst)
Develop "pricing machine", continuously optimizing revenue/margins and customer satisfaction through dynamic pricing
Facilitate building pricing capabilities inside the organizations through trainings, mentoring and coaching to ensure required maturity and capability level of local organizations
Analyze pricing Key Performance Indicators and acts as a consultant towards all stakeholders to drive continuous performance improvement through continuous visibility
Act as role models for compliance and Philips behaviors
You are part of
The role reports into the Head of Commercial Policy & Pricing within the Commerce organization. As the role supports the Philips Direct Online organization you work extremely close with Philips Direct Online team and Digital Marketing & E-Commerce (DMEC). This position includes cross-functional interactions, decision-making and exposure to senior management in the businesses and markets. This position is in principal based in our Amsterdam headquarters office.
In this role, you should have the following skills and experience
As our new Sr. Commercial Policy & Pricing Mgr you will have >7 years of relevant business experience in project management, pricing, commercial or finance role preferably in consumer goods industry.
Both your analytical and abstract thinking skills as well as convincing communication skills to get a diverse group of stakeholders on board and into the set direction. You will think strategically but are also able to translate this into concrete actions to drive fast-paced change
Besides that you will have:
A Master's degree in business administration or finance. MBA is a plus.
Previous exposure to e-commerce, D2C sales and the consumer goods industry is a must
Hands-on experience with dashboarding tools such as PowerBI, Qlik or Tableau.
Leadership skills, able to operate in dynamic environment with high interaction levels and wide array of stakeholders (cross-functional, cross-layer)
Persuasive, analytical, hands on mentality with proven project management skills
Fluent in English (both oral and written)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and preferably SAP knowledge
