Manage renewable energy credit(RECs) positions. Manage inventory and future projected positions. Monetize RECS through the over the counter trading market.

Monitor the REC market for trends and opportunities for most effective monetization. Mark Duke Energy's REC curves for CXL. Negotiate contracts with counterparties and enter trades into CXL.

Model power pricing for developers. Model using historic data and trends in environmental factors, policy, and power pricing to develop power curves used in project modeling for potential renewables project offerings to customers

Manage strategy for power hedges for ERCOT market and ancillary services (battery). Recommend other hedging opportunities through new product development or counterparties who may have an interest. Monitor the power markets for potential long/mid term hedge opportunities.

Provide business support for project approvals, monitor pipeline of potential projects and communicate with key stakeholders, support growth analytics for scenario planning and renewables business plan.

Basic/Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and five plus years of work related experience.

o Excellent analytical capabilities

o Demonstrated ability to manage projects or processes

o Knowledge of Duke's CXL system

o Knowledge of various regional transmission areas or demonstrated aptitude for knowledge ramp up

o Experience in the emissions markets

Effective communication with senior management, outside parties, other groups within Duke, strong analytical skills, work independently,

RTO (regional transmission organization) experience, experience with markets (e.g. over the counter trading) and market settlements

Middle Market The Middle Market Treasury Solutions Team is a leading provider of global; cash management, liquidity and commercial card capabilities. The Role The Treasury Solutions Sales Associate is an integral Treasury Solutions coverage team member who contributes to new sales targets and achieving portfolio growth objectives. The position is primarily geared to providing support to Treasury Management Officers (TMOs) and accountability for briefing memos, account plans and Pitch Books, while ensuring coordination among product partners, TMOs and other internal partners to develop client solutions.
