Were Getir, the pioneers of super-fast delivery. We deliver groceries such as sandwiches to shampoo, dog food to beer, in an average of ten minutes. Founded in 2015, we now deliver hundreds of thousands of orders a day from more than 300 locations in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Netherlands and Turkey. To make super-fast delivery possible, we dont refrain from getting involved in all the aspects that go into it. However, we like to do everything in a startup-savvy way that is driven by technology. As we expand our operations globally, its vital that we onboard experienced Commercial leaders including Heads of Commercial and Commercial Managers to both keep us in check and to help us with expanding operations into new markets.

We are looking for commercial managers, associates and directors who are data-driven and have a good understanding of the US grocery retail market to join us on this adventure as part of our US organization. Whats more, youll be a proud member of Getir USAs founding team and will have the opportunity to influence the growth of our business from the outset.
What Youll Do
- Be a member of Getir USAs Demand team, working with talented colleagues and great partners (suppliers)
- Own customer acquisition and retention KPIs. You will steer all decisions impacting these two KPIs, so our team plays a central role
- Act with the user in mind. First find ways to make the customers happy, then find a way to adapt that to the reality of the business
- Prepare business plans to serve our customers best while we succeed in company objectives
- Create fruitful partnerships with brands and help them reach the customers like they were never able before: at Getir, were changing the way of doing retail. We provide amazing tools and opportunities to brands to activate customers. Stimulate learning and testing opportunities with the suppliers, help them understand customers better and solve their pain points. We create a triple win!
- Have a data-driven growth mindset in order to manage key drivers of growth, such as multi-penetration of categories. Manage our promotional investments to optimize ROI while increasing basket size
- Work together with the Buying team and steer category decisions: Setup the local category framework to ensure a healthy portfolio mix, addressing the key customer needs. Understand product dynamics to optimize the assortment, e.g., what drives loyalty? Have an outside-in perspective, which categories are emerging, how can we make our portfolio more surprising? Can we enrich our portfolio with local suppliers? What is the optimal pricing strategy? Establish an overall product portfolio that goes beyond meeting customer expectations, resulting in uncalculated customer delight
- Provide input to Marketing decisions: use your tremendous knowledge of US customers and work with Brand managers to design excellent campaigns, or work with Performance Marketing to drive app downloads and traffic
- As a Commercial Associate/Manager you have a track record in eComm Trading or strong track record in a retail or FMCG that can quickly get up to speed
- Strong analytical skills, able to turn data into an actionable insight
