Summary: This position is responsible for learning about commercial loan administration and providing administrative and client service support to the Commercial Bankers in support of their respective roles and responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with team members and management to learn and understand related terminology, as well as the Bank's loan documentation policies, procedures and guidelines

  • Process loan advances, loan payments, payoffs, account transfers and any other client requests in a timely manner

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan set-up/renewal information on bank systems

  • Set up, process, and monitor commercial loan application packages to ensure that complete files are in place for the creation of loan documentation

  • Accurate data entry in commercial loan origination system to build customer, guarantor and affiliated entity relationships in the loan system

  • Order third party reports as assigned in commercial work processes to ensure compliance with FFB policies, guidelines, procedures and all regulatory compliance

  • Review and resolve a variety of customer problems / issues regarding bank products and services to include (but not limited too) deposits, treasury management, on-line banking, and loan related services

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred

  • Entry level; 1 to 3 years of banking, loan, or related experience preferred


  • Basic knowledge of commercial and consumer loan documentation, to include loans secured by real property, UCC Filings, titled vehicles and equipment, pledged assets, and contracts

  • Must have strong customer service ethics and team building skills

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and produce in a high-volume, deadline driven production work group

  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Strong grammar, composition, and analytical skills are essential

  • Proficient in Windows applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Formulate clinically credible documentation clarifications 6. Request documentation clarifications as appropriate for SOI, Core Measures, and Patient Safety 7. Effective and appropriate communication with physicians 8. Timely follow up on all cases and resolution of those with clinical documentation clarifications 9. Participate in Task Force Meetings 10. Manage multiple priorities 11. Communicates with HIM staff and resolves discrepancies 12.
