The Commercial Loan Closer facilitates the loan closing process while providing a high quality of customer service. Coordinate's preparation of commercial loan documents and ensures that documents are reviewed against the credit approval while complying with Bank Policy and Federal Regulations. Reviews all due diligence and establishes that all compliance requirements are met prior to close. Makes decisions, and recommendations and provides guidance to Lenders for additional documentation as applicable. Provides problem resolution and service to internal and third parties associated with the loan closing process, such as, attorneys, title agents and other financial institutions. This position reports to the Commercial Loan Operations Manager.

Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Review and structure complex commercial, commercial real estate, and construction loan documentation, including letters of credit and supporting documentation, to ensure that all loan documents are complete and accurate

• In compliance with federal regulations, compliant with terms and conditions as approved by the appropriate lending body

• In adherence to CFBank policies before the disbursement of loan proceeds

• Identify, and report funding exceptions appropriately

• Post-review of attorney-prepared loan documentation, including the supporting documentation

• Post-closing follow-up for recorded documentation

• Identifying and reporting loan closing and documentation issues

• Provide outstanding customer service and display a positive attitude at all times.

• Adhere to all regulations, policies, and record keeping requirements. Complete all required training related to bank regulations and policies.

• Accept other responsibilities and projects as requested to add value for CFBank.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of banking experience, primarily commercial loan document preparation and review experience.

• Minimum of 1-year complex commercial loan document review experience preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years LaserPro experience preferred.

• Strong working knowledge of complex commercial loan documentation, including trusts and various loan agreements, letters of credit, and entity documents.

• Able to work with various software programs (FIS/Horizon, Word, Excel, LaserPro, exception tracking systems, etc.).

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong knowledge of bank policy and federal regulations, including Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code
