Commercial Loan Administrator

What you'll do:
The Commercial Loan Administrator is responsible for processing and closing commercial loans in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. This includes working with the Relationship Manager / Account Officer to gather all due diligence information required for financial and credit analysis and loan approval. The Commercial Loan Closer is responsible for ensuring that loans are properly documented and that both supporting and contractual documentation complies with state and federal laws and protects the interest of the Bank and its customers.
What we are looking for:
Assist Loan Officers with gathering, reviewing, and assembling due diligence information and other loan documentation from pre-loan documentation to loan closing
Serve as liaison to coordinate the activities of external and internal groups and individuals who are a party to the loan processing, documentation, and closing
Develop professional working relationship with borrowers and Account Officer / Relationship Manager
Communicates directly with the Borrower to assist in gathering information for the loan package as instructed by the Account Officer or Relationship Manager
Actively participate, and frequently lead, the deal team in proactive problem identification or closing obstacles and resolution
Process loan requests prepared by Account Officer / Relationship Manager for review by Documentation, Compliance
Order and review loan documentation for accuracy and risk management
Assist Account Officer in gathering information required to complete LP, AAM, or OM
Ensure and document that all pre-closing conditions have been met
Assists Loan Officers to ensure all approvals, waivers and exceptions authorizations are received pre-closing
Ensure proper collection of all closing fees
Follow up on post-closing exceptions and receipt of original signed document
Follows procedures for submitting the final loan package to Loan Operations for booking and funding
Assists Business Line Unit to coordinate timely loan closings
Manage, coordinate and prioritize multiple loan closings simultaneously
Coordinates weekly meeting with the Lending Team and Loan Operations to prioritize workflow and workload
Responsible for daily delivery of the highest level of service to both internal and external clients
Any additional tasks as requested and as role eveloves
Qualifications:
Preferred: Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year College or University
Required: High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 3-5 years of lending, loan support or processing experience with knowledge and training in all lending activities, processing and terminology.
Intermediate computer operational skills required; basic knowledge of banking systems preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of related state and federal loan regulations and Bank lending policies.
Basic knowledge of branch operation procedures, Bank products and services.
Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $72,000.00 - $89,000.00 for La Mesa, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
