Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Job Description Job Description Seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Paralegal with experience in class actions and commercial litigation. This position will support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from pre-filing through post-trial, with a particular focus on large-scale class action cases and complex commercial disputes.

Please reach out to Kevin Ross at Robert Half for immediate consideration. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in managing class action and commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.

Draft and review legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements. Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and other relevant legal resources. Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and other documents related to litigation.

Manage document production, including reviewing, organizing, and Bates-stamping large volumes of discovery. Coordinate with clients, experts, and other third parties to gather necessary documents and information. Assist in the preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials, including creating exhibit lists and trial notebooks.

Monitor case deadlines and ensure that filings and other legal requirements are met on time. Prepare and file court documents via electronic filing systems and ensure compliance with local rules. Assist attorneys in the preparation of class certification motions, motions to dismiss, and dispositive motions.

Support settlement negotiations and oversee the implementation of settlement agreements. Manage communication between parties and opposing counsel, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses. Assist in managing case budgets, timelines, and resources.

Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited program. 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, with a focus on class actions and/or commercial litigation. Strong understanding of legal terminology, litigation procedures, and discovery processes. Proficient in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.

Experience with e-discovery platforms and managing large-scale document review processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
