Commercial Temp to support the Underwriting team and agents. The role handles the initial contact for agency new business through the mail boxes and applies technical expertise to handle incoming change submissions, quotes, new business issues and endorsements through our email boxes to put into our Task Manager workflow system.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Performs input of application and endorsement submissions into our Task Manager workflow system
Provides initial contact with internal and external for pertinent information
Strong oral and written communication skills
Performs input and support of available underwriting reports (Loss & Cancellation Reports)
Assist the underwriting department with billing needs
A current knowledge and use of industry rules, regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
Required Technical Skills:
Basic Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, math, analytical skills.
Ability to embrace and adapt to changes for the use of analytical skills, tools and technology
High School diploma, insurance industry experience
