Job Summary:
The Commercial Lines Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating workflow, troubleshooting, and overseeing work procedures, audits, and the review of customer service delivery. In addition, they will offer guidance, actively participate in onboarding new hires, and coordinate additional training for existing employees.
Serving as a daily resource, you will address inquiries related to service deliverables, system workflows, one-on-ones, backup coverage coordination, and handling Paid Time Away requests. The role also encompasses various other assigned duties.
Collaborates with Operations Leader on the oversight of the Commercial Lines Account Managers within the Long Island offices.
Executes management decisions and directives of the Operations Leader
First point of contact for Construction Practice Group employee questions
Coordination of and/or conducting new employee training
Responsible for providing performance feedback, development, coaching, and mentoring of service team employees
Schedule and lead regular team meetings to discuss project updates, address challenges, and foster a collaborative work environment
Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments
Acts as a backup within teams as necessary
Ensure success of the department with a focus on employee retention and efficiency
Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold applicable laws at all times
Prepare applications, quotations, coverage summaries/comparisons, general account transactions, proposals and recommendations needed to ensure clients/prospects understanding and adequacy of coverages.
Maintain all client files in the agency management system with full policy detail and use the system for all transactions, notes, and diaries.
Collect renewal data on assigned accounts, visiting clients if necessary.
Review and order renewals according to agency procedures.
Survey policy coverages and identify cross-selling and upgrading opportunities.
Adhere to Acrisure's policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Must have the ability to maintain professionalism in an in-person and virtual work environment
Experience in improving Customer Service operations
Willingness to participate in self-development or technical classes
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Strong organizational skills
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study or equivalent experience required
6-10 years within customer service or leadership role, within an agency setting preferred
Strong background working with Construction specific risks preferred
Current Property & Casualty Insurance License

Pay Details:
Annual Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
