Job Description

The Account Manager position works with a team to provide great client service and quality support to our clients. In this role, you would handle your own book of business with little input from the producers. You will be responsible for servicing existing clients for the producers and creating new business.
Job duties:
Manage current and new business as assigned by the agency
Handle policy change requests and updates with the carriers
Update the agency management system
Internal processing
Provide certificates and answer general billing or policy questions
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 5 years Commercial Insurance Experience
Must have a valid NC P&C License (additional state licenses are a plus)
CISR Certification, as well as AIC and AIS, a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Previous use of Agency Management software (Applied systems EPIC, TAM Online)

Hours may fluctuate seasonally, but are generally 6:45am to when the crew returns at the end of the day (approx 4:30/5:30); occasionally nights and weekend hours.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><p>(<em>Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all of the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.)</em></p><ul><li>Responsible for scheduling work</li><li>Work with and oversee maintenance crews by leading, directing, evaluating each position; hands on when necessary</li><li>Train team members for maximum efficiency on procedures, patterns, and productivity.</li><li>Work on plans, policies, and procedures to improve production.</li><li>Work with mechanic on issues of concerns and making sure we have the equipment needed to perform work in the field.</li><li>Property inspections and completing reports while walking property to help production with quality.</li><li>Accountability reports are to be completed daily for sales prospects and and follow up tracking for all sites visited.</li><li>Ensures the production hours are being met and adjustments are made to assure a quality product is being provided to the clients.</li><li>Check property inspection for completions.</li><li>Adjust and monitor irrigation</li><li>Talk to managers when on-site to provide additional customer service (i.e. concerns, bid opportunities, and/or referrals)</li><li>Collect flower orders</li><li>Oversees Equipment and Truck maintenance.
