Position Summary:

Perform installation of Customer's Commercial Security equipment including alarm systems, CCTV, Card Access and Fire Alarms and associated components.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, the Commercial Installer II may be expected to perform some or all of the duties listed and other duties as assigned.

  • Acknowledge, implement, and enforce all ADT/Protection1 Policies and Procedures.

  • Maintain an on-going library of all ADT/Protection1 Policies, Procedures, and Technical Manuals.

  • Submit accurate and timely documentation to your immediate supervisor (Billing reports, Data entry information, Time cards).

  • Attend Classroom and Field Training as required.

  • Comply with ADT/Protection1's vehicle policy.

  • Maintain the appropriate Truck Stock Supplies/Tools/Equipment.

  • Maintain the appropriate basic hand tools necessary to perform required duties.

  • Perform New System Installations, System Upgrades, and New System Additions.

  • Perform Customer Instruction on System Operation and Functionality.

  • Perform System testing and Signal Verification.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices.

  • Must have working knowledge of local and national codes.

  • Must have working knowledge of equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques, programming, and testing.

  • Must have working knowledge of Commercial Fire Systems, CCTV, Intercom, and Card Access Systems.

  • This position involves the possibility of crawling under structures or in attics and must be able to bend and work in tight spaces.

  • The employee is required to be available to work on weekends, holidays and after 5 p.m. as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and three years minimum alarm industry installation technician experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Applicable state and local licenses as required.

  • Must have valid driver's license issued by the state in which they reside and proper automobile registration.

Position Summary: The basic function is to perform maintenance and repair to financial/ATM equipment, pneumatic banking systems, bank locks, mechanical systems as well as CCTV and access control systems. Duties And Responsibilities * Provide continuity of customer operations and a high level of customer satisfaction/service to the clients. * Provide maintenance and repairs on Financial/ATM equipment and other electro-mechanical equipment at various locations within assigned territory. * Provide maintenance and repairs to pneumatic banking systems. * Provide maintenance and repairs to various bank locks and mechanical systems. * Provide ability to service and troubleshoot ATMs as well as CCTV and access control systems * Follow troubleshooting guidelines and refer to technical/parts manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose & repair equipment or systems. Whenever possible, all work performed should be reviewed with the customer. * Provide knowledge of basic electricity and electronic theory and the ability to apply that knowledge to duties involved in engineering functions such as evaluation testing and installation of various pieces of bank equipment. * Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with service coordinator, dispatcher, management, and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction experience. * Attends training classes when offered * Complete monthly vehicle reports in a timely manner. * Maintain accurate truck inventory to ensure timely responses to customers' needs. * Must have a strong work ethic. * Must be detail-oriented. * Must handle other duties and responsibilities, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience): * Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training. * Minimum requirement: Three (3) years "plus" of technical experience with low voltage systems, banking systems and integrated security equipment. * Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and clear a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. Certification/Licensing: * NCR ATM Certification must be obtained within three (3) to six (6) months of entry into the position.
