If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work independently, this is the perfect opportunity to advance your career in the HVAC industry A Successful Technician will have Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Good customer relations and interpersonal skills (professional disposition, upbeat but down-to-earth with a sense of humor) Excellent organizational and time management skills A 'self-starter' attitude and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner Great verbal and written communication skills Ability to use required technology for the position (training provided) Ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision What You’ll Do: Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems within the LA Basin You will be primarily responsible for performing repairs, maintenance and installation to a variety of equipment including air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, ductless systems, hermetic compressors, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, and humidifiers in a commercial setting.

Performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out of season equipment. Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance. Responding to service calls in a timely manner Work Monday- Friday 8-5 with rotating weekends About You: 5 years of experience with commercial HVAC systems.

Valid Driver's License & clean driving record from last 3 years, required EPA Universal Certification, Required Must understand the fundamentals of Cooling Tower systems, chillers, pumps, air handling systems, duct work and VAV systems, boilers, etc. Must understand electrical troubleshooting for both low voltage controls and high voltage power. HVAC Trade school or college courses, preferred NATE Certification, preferred Experience with VRF, strongly preferred High school or GED equivalent, required Ability to pass a background check & drug screen Ability to lift and maintain holding up to 50 lbs.

Ability to safely climb and balance on a ladder Ability to work in elevated/high locations (i.e. on roofs) Verifiable references & work history Knowledge of parts and tools necessary for each workday’s assigned activities Possession of hand tools required for the job (list available upon request), other tools necessary are supplied.
