Commercial Hvac Installer

The HVACR Installation Technician is responsible for installation of commercial HVACR systems utilizing knowledge of sheet metal installation, refrigerant and water piping along with all other industry practices to make a complete installation.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform installations of commercial HVACR equipment

• Assist Foremen and Project Manager in job layout

• Order parts and supplies as needed

• Use hand tools and power tools

• Keep current on all manufacturers products concerning installation

• Complete paper work associated with the installation
  Qualifications:

• Associates degree, technical school certification in HVACR, or 4 year apprenticeship

• Minimum 5 years commercial installation experience

• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Universal EPA certification

• Understanding of commercial HVACR systems

• Must adhere to all OSHA and Page Mechanical safety policies and procedures.

• Team oriented with the ability to work well and communicate with others

• The ability to install HVACR systems and components

• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to braze and solder

• Must own personal tools of the trade

• Good customer service and communication skills

• Demonstrates willingness to accept responsibility

• Neat, professional appearance

• Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record; clean criminal background for school district badge
  Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.

Work Environment

This job operates in both an office and a field environment. Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
