Eaton's eMobility Division is currently seeking a Commercial Financial Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Southfield, MI location.

Position Overview:

The eMobility Commercial Financial Analyst is responsible for reporting, planning and analysis for the eMobility product lines. The role includes leading the financial analysis required for product line quotes (RFQ's), Business Cases (CARs), ProLaunch program reviews, and ad-hoc commercial analysis as required by the eMobility leadership team. The role will report directly to eMobility Commercial Finance Controller and work closely with the SVP of Product Management & Sales and the Director of Program Management.

In this function you will:

  • Manage and Lead the production of a wide range of monthly reports covering commercial financial performance measures. Reporting and analysis of past performance plus developing short-term (actual / forecast), mid-term (annual profit plan) and long term (strategic plan) outlooks.

  • Manage and lead the financials for customer quotes (RFQ's). Work closely with the Sales, Product Management, Program management and New product introduction to create timely and accurate financials.

  • Coordinate or lead the financials for business cases (Growth CARs, footprint strategy, etc.). Work closely with the Sales, Product Management, Program management and New product introduction to create timely and accurate financials.

  • Manage and lead the financials for eMobility program / projects. Ensure accuracy and alignment with Program Management financial tools / reporting.

  • Manage and lead the financials for ad-hoc commercial financial analysis, financial modeling, sensitivity (what-if) scenarios.

  • Subject matter expert for product revenue and profitability tools.

  • Coordinate or lead accurate & timely submission of eMobility Strategic Plan financial requirements.

  • Liaise with HQ Controller (as necessary) for New Program introduction spending.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business from an accredited institution is required.

  • Minimum 5 years professional work experience in finance or accounting is required.

  • Minimum 2 years professional work experience in a Manufacturing environment is required.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting is required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Business Intelligence tools is required

  • Knowledge of ERP, Business Intelligence and Financial Reporting systems (Oracle, SAP, ENCORE, etc.) is required.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Southfield, MI will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in accounting, finance or business.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to observe, evaluate, summarize, and communicate highly complex issues and make decisions based on those observations.

  • Understanding of commercial and manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to execute in a matrixed environment with strong influencing skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact effectively and influence employees at all levels within the organization, and employees of diverse cultures.

  • Sense of urgency and focus on accuracy and integrity.

  • High standard of customer service/support.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task to resolve issues.
