Job Description:

Responsible for providing finance management, leadership and direction to the Arconic Fastening Systems (AFS) Commercial Organization. Supports attainment of the business unit sales, profit and free cashflow objectives by action as an internal consultant to the AFS VP Finance and to the commercial and product management leads of AFS.

Deliver financial insight to enable sustainable growth and provide recommendations with a high degree of business impact to the most senior executives of the business unit and that position's executive staff. Continually improves the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes in areas of authority. Seeks to improve profit performance across business unit.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Contributes to the definition and the implementation of the marketing, sales and distribution strategy, along with business development initiatives, in alignment with Arconic and Business Unit strategies.

Work in cross-functional team to translate strategy into business plans, financial forecasts and assists in the establishment of measurable targets.

Directly responsible for bridging historical revenue results and future forecasts modeling out significant impacts such as forex, pricing impacts, market growth, base retention losses and organic / inorganic growth strategies.

Develop, enhance and maintain modeling tools that track pricing impacts within revenue results and forecasts.

Monitor the financial performance of the sales activities, analyze and give business recommendations as well as action controller of AFS DI (Degrees of Implementation) Growth Sheets.

Participate in preparation of monthly/quarterly executive presentations reporting out business unit performance and strategy.

Support implementation of efficient sales distribution controlling/accounting processes and governance while ensuring that internal controls are respected at all times. Ensure compliance with all financial Arconic Self Assessments (ASATs) applicable to the AFS Commercial Organization. Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements across the organization.

Key team member on customer negotiation. Ensure and support accuracy and efficiency of commercial and distribution/channel management related processes including quotation, sales price management, rebates and discount management, invoicing, credit collection and account receivables (due, overdue). Responsible for providing financial history if applicable and financial modeling for long-term agreement negotiations.

Monitor competitive dynamics of industry and perform competitor benchmarking analysis. Report out to senior management findings, changes in competitor landscape, periodic financial results and variations to AFS business unit financial performance.

Responsible for maintaining AFS Commercial P&L which segments profitability by customer, product and market. Ensure that data integrity is maintained by identifying issues and coordinating corrective actions. Report out BU deliverables such as revenue by market analysis and top customer revenue reporting.

Support intercompany transfer pricing analysis liaising with Arconic Corporate Tax and BU Finance / Commercial teams.

Support operating locations on revenue related items as specified in requirements in contracts. These include but are not limited to metals recovery and learner curve pricing.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Participate as key thought leader of business unit financial team while providing support, analysis and reporting out of BU financial and non-financial weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables.

Interface with Finance team and Commercial Organization on complex sales accounting related matters.

Provide financial support across all departmental functions of the organization and be able to effectively function in a diverse international environment.

Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S.

Located in Financial Centers with a concentration of Mass Affluent customers, the FSA will act as the primary point of contact for Mass Affluent customers, although will not have a "book of business." Walk-in customers will be directed to the FSA who will provide end to end comprehensive advice and customized solutions to help customers achieve their financial goals. Customer reviews/presentations will include a review of investment goals and prepare presentations that recommend products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and managed money solutions. The FSA will transact point of fulfillment investment and banking business for clients with less than $250k in investable assets. In addition, the FSA will engage in daily relationship calling to pre-selected Bank of America or Merrill Edge customers inviting them into the Financial Center for a customer review. The FSA should have experience in investment, banking and lending products to bridge banking and brokerage solutions. The FSA will build and maintain effective partnerships with internal business partners including other Financial Center teammates, Small Business Bankers, Mortgage Loan Officers, Financial Advisors, in Consumer Banking Services (CBS) and Merrill Edge Advisory Center (MEAC). The FSA will directly report to a Regional Sales Manager on the Preferred Banking & Investments team and work closely with specialist partners to drive referrals. Primary Responsibilities * Assess customer goals by conducting financial opportunity sessions with new or existing banking clients. Leverage business knowledge to determine prudent and appropriate strategy to meet client's needs by recommending financial solutions for Mass Affluent clients. * Build strategic partnership with Financial Center as a valued team member.
