SUMMARY OF POSITION
The company businesses are managed on a regional basis and has a support structure for regional analysis. This function is necessary to support global initiatives and analysis.
The Analyst will work with commercial data tools to execute reports and investigate variances as needed by the Global Industry Leaders and as directed by the Sr. Manager Global Commercial Analysis. They will also assist in ongoing management of the data and processes and implementation and design of new business information tools.
Assist in preparing dashboards to measure the performance of the business from a global perspective across various Industry segments.
Leverage business systems to generate KPI metrics such as:
Top 100 Customer reporting
Sales by destination
Strategic Initiatives and Accounts
Global Product line reports
Other KPIs as needed
Support of Global Industry Leaders by providing ad-hoc analysis as requested such as:
Industry and product line profitability analysis
Cost components analysis
Total customer profitability
Reconciliation and maintenance of inputs into global BI systems to insure system integrity including:
Monitoring of adherence to global segmentation standards for product and customer
Review of regional input reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams in validating accuracy of customer/product classifications across regions.
Assist in acquisition data integrations.
Support of Global Sales & CM budgeting and forecasting processes including:
Assisting in template development
Input of budget/forecast data
Reconcilement and flux analysis
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS/COMPETENCIES to perform the job duties
Key Education or Certification Required
Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
Experience working with large data volumes and data analytics.
High proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL with ability to design and create pivot tables, data queries, etc. required. HOST and Power BI experience preferred.
Required Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience
5+ years of work experience including financial analysis.
Preferably experience in serving key business leaders.
