Commercial Finance Analyst

The position requires a minimum of 7 years of finance experience in a world-class best practices business service or B2B software environment. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Regional Commercial Finance Director and assist in the structuring, pricing and reporting of complex deal transactions, strategic alliances and/or contracts with third party vendors. Will ensure that management information is accurate and reflects the performance of the business. Will ensure revenue recognition policies, procedures and controls for pricing practices and commercial transactions are adhered to.
The Commercial Finance Analyst will access various systems (Sales Force, NetSuite, Insight Squared, etc) and prepare relevant financial reports to keep sales management aligned and driving toward success of their quarterly and yearly goals. They will support the Regional Commercial Director in analyzing the data and developing relevant actions plans for continuous improvement of the Sales Organization. The analyst will also support the Regional Commercial Director in reviewing large deal financial and T&C's to ensure compliance with profitability guidelines, revenue recognition policies and the overall Commercial Policies.
Develop, produce and analyze reporting from Salesforce, NetSuite, Insight squared and other internal systems;
Work with sales on individual deal analysis to optimize outcomes for UiPath (revenue, ARR, profitability)
Establish, maintain and enforce best practices, processes and controls with HQ Finance related to pricing, contracting and compliance;
Stay abreast and analyze commercial activities and keep finance, operations and sales up-to-date to strengthen sales forecasting;
Support commercial activities to meet budget or improve on cost, volume and efficiency targets for short and long-term regional plans;
Enable a proactive and collaborative culture between Sales and Finance to obtain shared goals;
Ability to work engage and work across functions ( Sales, Operations, Legal, HQ, Finance Operations) to ensure a good understanding of a deal and impact of new business models;
Produce, monitor, analyze and educate on value drivers (Metrics/KPIs)
Review and ensure monthly reporting of business performance is accurate (to include accrual balances and P&A spend vs. expectation);
P&A review; to include invoice review and accruals management (re-forecast and releases);
Contribute to on-time monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts through analysis and insightful support, ensuring that all variances are challenged and understood;
Support costing decisions/calculate prices for new listings in both new/existing customers and tender submissions;
Model commercial scenarios to provide commercial support and review for planning;
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support decision making and reporting;
Ensure numbers have been rigorously reviewed before submission for half-year and year-end balances to support the audit process;
Proven and seasoned in financial modeling, planning, control and revenue recognition;
Excellent technical system skills for data extraction, financial modeling and report preparation skills;
Good Knowledge of US GAAP requirements;
Self-starter, action-oriented, has a positive attitude;
willing to work under tight timelines to achieve the financial objectives of the business;
Team player, who is an open, honest and mature individual;
Good listener as environment is fast-paced and fluid;
Must possess good systems knowledge, of Salesforce, NetSuite, Insight Squared and Microsoft Office;
Excellent skills in Excel and MS office suite of products;
Strong verbal and written communications skills;
Enjoys international interaction with a wide range of contacts internally and externally around the world;
Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required. C.P.A., CA, M.B.A. helpful.
15- 25 % travel.
