American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading issuer of commercial solutions to small, medium and large businesses globally. The Data Strategy & Insights Field Tools team within GCS is responsible for increasing sales effectiveness and implementing global solutions to support our sales organizations and provide the necessary Sales Performance Management forecast and reporting.
5 years experience working in large scale data repository and business intelligence development projects through all phases of the systems development lifecycle, including a wide variety of delivery methods. Product Management and Program Governance in collecting requirements, prioritization, field training, and change management.
5 years experience developing analytics and business intelligence capabilities for a variety of output media
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with the enterprise, technology marketing and other key organizations to deliver successful deployment of complex business solutions
Ability to engage in strategic and high-level technical conversations in order to provide clear management direction and drive successful system implementation
Ability to make complex prioritization trade-offs and tactical decisions using sound business judgment, analytical and reasoning skills
Unstructured data integration and analytics capabilities development experience
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences in an effective and convincing manner
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large quantities of data using a variety of industry tools
Big Data / Cornerstone Toolset working knowledge
