The Connected Growth Platform (CGP) supports our strategy to become the most connected, responsive and insightful consulting firm. The CGP will focus on managed services, digital and emerging technologies (including cyber), service delivery centers, EY wavespace and select system implementation practices. The CGP capabilities will be infused into our service offerings and go-to-market execution to provide our clients with cross-sector insights and integrated capabilities across all government and public sector, commercial and financial services sectors in the US. This integration will allow us to move faster, work smarter, and achieve more with our clients.

The opportunity

Commercial Enablement (CE) is a multi-disciplinary team formed to advance EY's ability to sell, shape and contract large, transformational opportunities across EY. The CE Team is primarily involved in large deal pursuits, Managed Services offering development, account strategy and growth, and serves as deal advisors and leads across the firm's highest value client pursuits.

The Solution Architect role will be a defined role within the CE team and will be assigned to CGP opportunities as dictated by prioritized demand. The role calls for flexibility and adaptability to be placed in a central role in shaping and closing complex deals across both sectors and offerings.

Your key responsibilities

You will work directly with EY professionals, leaders and clients to define and execute win strategies as well as shape and contract large deal opportunities for EY Advisory Services. As a Solution Architect, you will:

  • Participate in large deal pursuits to understand client needs and align EY's services to meet those needs in a repeatable, sustainable and profitable business model

  • Collaborate with pursuit teams to define all elements of the solution model to accurately estimate the cost, effort, and timeline to deliver

  • Work closely with functional SMEs and technology/transformation leads to develop target operating models, implementation plans, and client value propositions

  • Assist with business case and pricing model development

  • Ensure solution and commercials are reflected in contractual documentation

  • Present solutions confidently and accurately to client executives and EY internal leadership

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal EY stakeholders

  • Manage and develop high performing teams through effective leadership, coaching and mentoring

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience in in strategy consulting, managed services, solution sales or related fields; or a graduate degree (MBA, JD) and approximately 3 years of related work experience

  • Experience with solution architecture or product management for technology services, managed services or other professional services

  • Demonstrated abilities in one or more of the following areas:

  • Sales execution and origination for large / complex managed services deals

  • Management or strategy consulting

  • Quantitative analysis and/or financial modeling

  • Contract drafting and negotiations for large / complex services transactions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentations using tools such as PowerPoint/Excel/Word

  • Willingness to travel to meet client needs and ability to travel internationally; travel is estimated at 5-10 weeks per year for employees based in the New York Metro area

This innovative data & analytics function will drive advanced analytics and actionable insights to help drive Hilton's performance. What will I be doing? The Data Strategy & Governance Team supports key functions across the business by utilizing innovative solutions to provide frictionless and timely access to high-quality, integrated data. The team consists of experts in data governance, data quality, data integration, data modeling, and data channeling, reporting & dashboards. Partnering with the Director, Master Data Management, you will be instrumental in developing a plan to sunset legacy environment and migrating changes to newly created data lake. You will be responsible for leading a team of contractors to support commercial services Data warehouse to support day-to-day data operations. On the strategic front, you will be responsible for planning a phased migration of the legacy applications to DNA Data Lake and ensuring a smooth transition of the reporting and other ongoing activities. More specifically, you will: * Keep the legacy environment operational and support existing reporting functionality. * Document existing processes, systems and tools to build a current state inventory. * Judiciously handle new change requests and enhancements to the legacy environment. * Build plans to migrate legacy applications to DNA data lake * Model teams data sources to support accurate reporting from legacy CSAT environment. * Develop road map to decommission legacy environment and migrate to DNA data lake. * Lead team of DBA's and business specialist in support of the data architecture and operational needs of the team. * Co-ordinate with outside vendors hosting data warehouses related to commercial services analytics and bi development needs * Meet pre-defined SLA's for CSAT environment. * Develop system/process level documentation to support decommissioning and transferability. * Document dependencies across different tables/reports/tables in legacy environment. * Maintain and enhancing existing applications such as wish walk. * Build decommissioning strategy to transfer legacy environment applications to DNA data lake in phases. * Build ETL processes/Data pipeline using Scala and other big data technologies * Design and build BI API's on established enterprise Architecture patterns, for data sharing from various sources. * Design, build, and maintaining small set of highly flexible and scalable models linked to Hilton's specific business needs.
