Commercial Drywall Estimator

Note: Pay rate will be based off experience and determined through in person interview. Please see average Construction Estimator pay rates for a reference. Barber Drywall Inc is a Drywall and Metal framing construction company. We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in our construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring projects are financially feasible. Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates

• Provide detailed breakdowns of project costs for client review

• Assist in project management activities related to budgeting and pricing

• Develop and maintain a professional, positive relationship with multiple General Contractors, material suppliers, product representatives, and customers.

• Prepare accurate takeoffs utilizing estimating software.

• Price labor, material, and equipment using historic data, past experience, and supplier pricing to compile competitive bids and negotiated work proposals.

• Analyze completed projects and continually update production databases to ensure competitive and profitable bidding.

• Remain current on local market conditions.

• Produce concise proposals and bid forms.

• Follow up on submitted bids. Requirements:

• Proven experience in construction estimating and contract negotiation

• Proficiency in Construction Management and Project Management

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations

• Ability to build accurate estimates based on project scope

• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively
