Job Description:

The Commercial Credit Underwriter is responsible for underwriting and structuring of straightforward and complex credit transactions with minimal oversight from the CO (Credit Officer)/CCM (Commercial Credit Manager). The Underwriter approves credit transactions with some coaching from the CO/CCM based on approval grid. The Underwriter leads the credit approval process with assistance from the CO/CCM as needed for clients with straight forward credit needs and is an active participant with the CO in credit approval process for complex clients/transactions. Underwriter leads documentation and closing for straightforward credit transactions and has an active role with the CO in documentation and closing for complex transactions. They deliver financial, industry, economic and other analysis to facilitate decision making, while also ensuring adherence to credit policies, guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. The Underwriter provides ongoing coaching and support to other Credit team members. They report to the Commercial Credit Manager and partner closely with Credit Officers and Analysts.

  • Can be hired as a Commercial Credit Underwriter I or II depending on candidate experience

  • Experience in financial analysis and portfolio management

  • (CCU I) BS/BA degree + 2-3 years of commerical credit analysis experience

  • (CCU II) BS/BA degree and 5+ years of solid experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management in commercial banking.

  • Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, and modeling

  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally

FORTUNE Magazine recognized TDIndustries as one of the &quot;100 Best Places to Work&quot;, &quot;Top 50 Training Organizations&quot; and &quot;Top 30 Companies to Retire From&quot; due to our solid commitment to the personal and professional development of each employee.</p><p>Essential Duties</p><ul><li><p>Performs start-up and functionality checking on newly installed HVAC, plumbing and electrical components, equipment and systems.</p></li><li><p>Checks newly installed equipment for operation I/A/W engineering or factory specifications.</p></li><li><p>Ensures all components and systems are installed per applicable city and trade code.</p></li><li><p>Works directly with other subcontractors or vendors to insure proper operation of equipment.</p></li><li><p>Interprets drawings, identifies errors/omissions and advises the appropriate supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Explains the work performed to the satisfaction of the customer.</p></li><li><p>Trains and provides guidance to Start-Up Technicians with less experience to improve their skill sets.</p></li><li><p>Performs or assists with owner's training and functional testing with Commissioning Agent.</p></li><li><p>Disassembles and reassembles commercial mechanical and plumbing equipment to perform trouble shooting and preventative maintenance as needed.</p></li><li><p>Ensures newly installed equipment is level and aligned.</p></li><li><p>Diagnoses HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and/or electrical system performance through observation, testing and setup as required per plans and specifications.</p></li><li><p>Maintains continuous status report on work completed.</p></li><li><p>Safely operate a motor vehicle and trailer as evidenced by past driving performance record and to adhere to all company safety requirements.</p></li><li><p>Maintains vehicle, equipment and tools.</p></li><li><p>Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers.</p></li></ul><p>Minimum Requirements</p><ul><li><p>Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant Start Up Tech experience.</p></li><li><p>High School Diploma or GED. Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field is preferred.
