Commercial Construction Superintendent

Job Description Job Posting: Commercial Superintendent Our client is seeking a Commercial Superintendent with 10 years of experience to join our team.

This role requires a proactive and driven individual who can manage all aspects of construction, from plan reviews to scheduling, while ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to timelines. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both self-performing and subcontractor management and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee commercial construction projects, primarily in private and municipal sectors (limited federal work). Interpret and review plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality execution. Push and develop construction schedules, holding teams accountable to deadlines. Assist in schedule development and actively work on job sites with a hands-on approach.

Lead subcontractor management; eventually help transition into self-performance for concrete work. Ensure compliance with OSHA 30 standards (certification preferred, but training offered). Attend and lead project meetings, ensuring alignment between all project stakeholders. Manage on-site operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality control.

Requirements: Education: Degree in Building or Civil Engineering preferred. Experience: 10 years in commercial construction (private and municipal projects); multifamily experience is a plus Technical Skills: Proficient in Procore, CMIC, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Office 365), Microsoft Project (scheduling), and familiar with Primavera (preferred). Certifications:

OSHA 30 (required or willing to obtain), CPR certification (preferred), GA soil erosion blue dirt card is a plus. Strong ability to read and understand plans/specs independently. Proven ability to hold teams accountable, with a diplomatic and team-oriented approach.
