The Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the commercial construction operations of a building project. This includes ensuring that the entire construction process is completed on time and on budget, while also ensuring that the project is completed to industry standards of quality.
Position Overview: The Senior Superintendent will lead the project team and report to the Construction Manager. The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for the overall success of the project and the safety of the workers involved.
The Superintendent is responsible for the projects cost, schedule, and quality control. Key Responsibilities: Planning and scheduling the construction work on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Overseeing the work of subcontractors and suppliers Ensuring that all construction activities are conducted to industry standards and in accordance with project specifications Developing and managing the project budget Managing the project timeline and ensuring all deadlines are met Leading and motivating project team members Ensuring safety of all personnel and compliance with OSHA regulations Overseeing quality control of all materials and workmanship Developing strategies to minimize risk in construction projects Maintaining effective communication between all stakeholders Qualifications: 5 years of experience in construction management in a commercial setting Knowledge of project management and general contracting principles Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Proficiency in cost estimating, scheduling, and quality control Familiarity with risk management and safety management principles Strong leadership, strategic planning, team building, and communication skills Benefits $100k-160k base salary (DOE) before bonuses Medical, Dental, Life insurance 401k PTO Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
