Identify, manage, and develop plans to mitigate risks in operational processes that could impact the health plan's effectiveness in implementing benefit changes as directed by senior leadership or satisfying regulatory deadlines and other legal requirements.
Creatively and effectively manage competing priorities across various departments to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner and dependent tasks are not unnecessarily delayed.
Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and staff identified as "work stream leads" from operational teams throughout the organization. This includes preparing and delivering weekly reports to oversight committees comprised of management, directors, and executive leaders.
Coordinate and lead regular meetings with work stream leads to ensure that processes are on track and crucial lines of communication remain open.
The Commercial Business Implementation Project Lead is responsible for ongoing development, management, and enhancement of Health Alliance's product lifecycle. The Project Lead will be responsible for working with organizational leadership to identify, track, and manage completion of tasks to support successful design, filing, and implementation of plans. A successful project will culminate with a project portfolio that is consistent with business strategy and consumer demand, compliant with state and federal laws, and implemented in a way that benefits and other information is accessible to consumers. The scope of projects will include Fully Insured group and individual, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and several ancillary health insurance products (e.g. Federal Employees Health Benefits Program).
