We are hiring for light construction & repair in the Indianapolis area...

Barrier Compliance Services is a national containment contractor that specializes in preventing the spread of fire, smoke, sound, water, and infection in buildings. Work will include wall repair, caulking, insulation and other firestop system installations in Hospitals.

We can teach you our trade.


  • Must pass drug test

  • Must pass background check

  • No Visible Tattoos and no smoking (Hospital rules)

  • Must have a flu shot (Hospital rules. Company pays for it)

  • Must have reliable transportation to work

  • Ability to use a caulk gun and other basic hand tools

  • Comfortable working on heights such as ladders and in small/tight spaces

  • Previous painting, finish carpentry, caulking, insulation, and drywall finish work is a plus but not required

  • Previous experience working in a hospital is a plus but not required.


  • $13 - $18 per hour DOE

  • Paid weekly (direct deposit)

  • Healthcare and 401k after eligibility periods.

Will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of controlled growth chambers and storage freezers with varying degrees of cooling. Utilizes advanced skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of refrigeration equipment. Exciting opportunity with growth potential. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to operations and work safety. Inspects refrigeration systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client. Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of controlled growth chambers and storage freezers. Performs assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks. Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum. Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate work and assign tasks. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
