Commercial Bond Policy Issuer

We are seeking to add a Policy Issuer to our Commercial Bond Department! You will be responsible for accurate policy issuing, file maintenance, and record keeping.

Responsibilities:

• Enter variety of data using current technology

• Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes

• Review discrepancies in data received and advise supervisor of issues

• Issue new bonds that come through Surety Cloud

• • Verify that the info given by agents is accurate and meets the requirements for the bond form
• • Verify that payment has been collected
• • Reach out to the agent if necessary to collect additional information

• Utilize Surety platforms to aid in the issuance process (One Beacon, Hudson, Crum)

• Electronically file NMLS Bonds and BMC's

• Utilize Excel spreadsheets to keep record of the shipment, bond number, renewal, and changes for each bond.

• Purchase Renewals through Hudson's eSurety platform

• Issue renewal documents such as continuation certificates, and verification certificates

• Issue any changes being made by a principal for their bond such as address, name, or term dates

• Maintain correspondence with individuals at each Surety when submitting changes or renewals for previously issued bonds

• Maintain open communication with team members

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in policy issuing, data entry or other related fields

• Excellent communication and typing skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Deadline and detail-oriented

• Show eagerness and capacity to learn
