Middle Market Banking &Specialized Industries (MMBSI) is a Commercial Banking business locatedin 101 offices across the US and Canada. MMBSI provides credit, cashmanagement, capital markets and corporate finance advisory solutions tocorporations, municipalities and not-for-profit entities via our Core Bankingor Specialized Industries teams. Core Banking teams generally focus on clientswith annual revenues of $20 million to $500 million. Within our
Specialized Industries practice, we have experts strategically focused onserving businesses within a variety of industry segments, including, but notlimited to: Agribusiness, Government, Healthcare and Technology. This role is the focal point of clientacquisition and ongoing relationships; Bankers work both independently and aspart of a team to introduce our comprehensive solutions to clients. As a Banker,you are responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships withinthe MMBSI target space (companies with revenues between $20 and $100 million). OurBankers are required to have deep working knowledge of our solutions including,but not limited to: Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking,Syndicated Finance, Commercial Card and Chase Paymentech Solutions. Our strongest Bankers have a methodicalapproach to the market activity and prospecting. MMBSI delivers locally and therefore ourideal candidate has deep local connections and market knowledge.
Typicallya minimum of seven years direct lending or credit support related experiencewith a focus on business relationships
Understanding of Commercial Banking productsand services
Knowledge of the local marketplace
Ability to mobilize internal networks andresources
Formal credit training preferred
Demonstrated experience of meeting orexceeding sales goals
Sales management and businessdevelopment skills
Proficiencyin building and maintaining positive client relationships
Excellentverbal, written and listening communication skills
Strong creative solution andproblem solving abilities
The final officer title andjob grade is at the discretion of the firm and will be discussed at the time ofoffer. It may be different than what is listed on the requisition basedon candidate experience level.
