In this role, you will support client acquisition and ongoing relationships in Southern California for Healthcare, Higher Education and Not-for-Profit Industries (HHN) within the Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI). Bankers work both independently and as part of a team to introduce our comprehensive solutions to clients. The revenue size of the organizations we work with ranges signficantly from $50 million not-for-profit organizations to $10 billion

  • health systems. This position covers the Southern California region; however, the team leans in on expertise across the national HHN footprint - Treasury, Industry Solutions, Credit - as well other firmwide JPM resources including Investment Banking, Derivatives, Corporate Responsibility, among others.

Our Bankers are required to have a deep working knowledge of our solutions including, but not limited to, Credit and Treasury Services. Upon occasion, knowledge of International Banking and Syndicated Finance are drawn upon. Our strongest bankers have a methodical approach to the market activity and prospecting. We encourage both an entrepeneurial attitude to growing the bankers' portfolio as well as team orientation on the opportunity to fully develop relationships.

Required Experience

  • Typically a minimum of seven years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships

  • Bachelor's degree required; formal credit training preferred

  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services

  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources

  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals

  • Strong technology experience; digital background preferred

Relationship Executives develop a weekly sales plan prioritizing revenue generating sales opportunities and are responsible for cultivating referral sources, institutionalizing relationships and calling. Specific calling goals are developed depending upon client portfolio responsibilities. However, calling requirements have a strong emphasis on in-person meeting with clients and prospective clients.
