Commercial Analyst
Onsite role, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
As an essential corporate function, OOCL's Outbound Trade department oversees and manages all commercial aspects relating to outgoing vessel utilization and profitability specific to an individual Trade (i.e. Transatlantic/Transpacific/Latin America) and customer segment (i.e. BCO/NVO/Major Commodity). This includes strategic planning, dynamic market analysis, contract and rate negotiation, and tactical execution to provide extended support to our sales organization. The candidate should possess excellent analytical and implementation abilities along with advanced communication skills to ensure buy-in from internal stakeholders and customers alike.

What will be asked of the OOCL Commercial Analyst:
Review performance against Model Ship targets and follow up with Sales to improve lift.
Implement strategies to optimize cargo selection and enhance Yield.
Handle regional commercial mitigations and pricing enquiries.
Maximize revenue, contribution, and lifting through service contract terms and rate negotiations.
Coordinate with CTAD for service contracts or amendments filing.
Develop and implement pricing strategies in conjunction with Trade management.
Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders within OOCL, particularly the Sales department
