Responsibilities:

  • Manage prospects from delivery from our Sales Development Representatives (SDR) to the handoff to our Professional Services Team with the ability to articulate our value proposition, navigate objections and foster relationships

  • Collaborate with our Client Services, SDR and Marketing teams to optimize sales and customer satisfaction

  • Cultivate lasting business relationships with customers through consultative sales tactics and effective account management practices

  • Accelerate our growth in our commercial account market segment

  • Smoothly transition newly acquired customers over to our Customer Success team to optimize customer retention

  • Build and manage a pipeline of leads from prospect to close

  • Use Salesforce.com to maintain excellent records

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales revenue goals

  • Help to solidify the competitive posture of Talkdesk

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales functions - preferably 2+ years in SMB Sales for technology products

  • 2+ years experience working in the SaaS industry

  • Proficient with web-based demo software and tools

  • Stellar work ethic, passion for closing and exceptional drive

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute both short-term and long-term sales plans

  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere

  • Strong planning, writing, presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to work in an open office environment and to provide and receive feedback professionally

  • Experience selling to C-level executives and track record of closing deals exceeding $50K ARR

  • Consistent track record of quota achievement

This position will be responsible for focusing on media relations, coverage and issue analysis. The AAE will draft, customize and finalize media content along with reporting, social media monitoring and content development with increased client-facing interaction. WE Codeword – a fast growing hybrid PR and content communications agency with offices in San Francisco, New York, and Salt Lake City – needs an Assistant Account Executive who is ready to hit the ground running. This position will evolve and expand over time as the company grows. You'll be part of the Salt Lake City PR team. The perfect candidate must be able to write well, have media relations experience (or the itch to learn and succeed in it,) be interested in tech, and want to work on-site at our office in Lehi. Responsibilities Job Functions: * Monitor, report and provide insight on competitor and issue-specific social media activities as well as contribute to unique and creative uses of social campaigns or emerging technologies as necessary * Craft and customize influencer pitches and social media content * Begin developing relationships with media/influencers; Develop final internal and external materials including action emails and recaps for internal and external clients * Monitor coverage and conversations in social media * Provide analysis and strategic recommendations based on industry knowledge * Integrate and gather information across teams, clients and partners as needed for projects * Contribute ideas and brainstorm on media/ influencer strategies; engaging with clients as needed. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum/Preferred Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field is preferred, or the equivalent knowledge and/or experience * Typically minimum 1-2 years of communications, marketing, or media experiences; can include internship experience * Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel) * Strong understanding of and proficiency in social media * Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, and meet deadlines Additional Requirements: * Comfortable with integrated communication principles * Understand the role of the media * Interest in developing integrated communications skills incorporating digital and social media * High level of initiative. * Client and business environment: Customer service orientation is a must. Job pressure may exist from requirement of handling multiple tasks * Experience working globally or with colleagues in multiple locations * Fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.) * Strong presentation and consulting skills along with the ability to read, write and speak English * May need to work more than 40 hours per week on occasion * Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
