ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Knot Worldwide is in search of a full time Commerce Manager who will play a pivotal role in growing the company's affiliate commerce revenue via The Knot Worldwide's owned & operated channels. Leveraging their digital marketing, business development, analytical and partner relationship experience, the candidate will work closely with teams across the organization to drive revenue growth and value to users across the company's portfolio of sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become fluent in marketplace dynamics and the personas The Knot Worldwide serves and assist in crafting dedicated Commerce strategies that address these segments and drive revenue for the company.

  • Manage a segment of TKWWs Commerce partners and own the optimization of revenue-driving strategies & drive towards achieving revenue targets.

  • Create, manage, and optimize measurable, market-driven campaigns leveraging all relevant elements of the marketing mix including social media, editorial, creative services, online marketing and direct marketing.

  • Manage technical aspects of linking, tracking and record-keeping of affiliate relationships.

  • Drive deep, collaborative working relationships with TKWW's business development, product and consumer marketing, global marketing and sales teams to ensure promotion of commerce content, identify trends, promotion opportunities, and optimize content for distribution.

  • Think big about opportunity areas for Commerce expansion & generate excitement for the opportunities cross-functionally.

  • Capture, analyze, and integrate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness, return on investment (ROI, forecast future performance and inform business decisions.

SUCCESSFUL COMMERCE MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Digital marketing and eCommerce experience, as well as strong business acumen, some business development experience and have a demonstrated track record of success

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in technology and partner marketing including demonstrated competency in relationship management, data analysis and marketing

  • Experience establishing and growing strategic partnerships over time

  • A four year degree from an accredited University or college

  • Data-driven and results-oriented; adept at utilizing analytics tools such as Google Analytics to report out and act on data

  • Excellent communication, presentation, prioritization, and organizational skills, and a strong commitment to detail

  • Demonstrating experience in partner relationship management and/or affiliate program management

  • Possessing strong business acumen, keen business analysis skills and eCommerce experience

  • Excellence in verbal and written communication, presentation skills and relationship management

  • Ability to partner with all levels of an organization, including senior leadership

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy, and professionalism

  • Relentless drive to create the best work possible
