Job Description

Job Summary

The Command Center Manager is responsible for ensuring all customer routes are covered by drivers with the best possible skills and vehicles that best meet the passenger needs. Coordinator is first point of contact for drivers and customers, and is an important liaison between department leaders.

Job Duties

Driver Coordination:

  • Responsible for scheduling of drivers for all shuttle routes. This includes working with account managers and drivers to create and build routes and ensuring that all drivers are checked in and start shuttle routes. Will review all driver time off requests, identify and assign coverage for driver time-off requests, and approve driver timecards in payroll system.

  • Daily monitoring and updating of TMS system and GPS tracking system to ensure shuttle routes are covered.

  • Operate as liaison between all departments and leaders by providing daily updates on driver and shuttle availability.

  • Emergency response contact for any driver, shuttle, or field issues that may arise. Notify department leads of any potential delay or change in a route's schedule for proactive outreach to customers.

  • Provide customer service for all guest riders by handling any calls or messages that come in from them. Work closely with account managers to ensure all customer concerns are resolved.

  • Ensure drivers understand TMS procedures and adhere to any policies.

Administrative:

  • Manage route packet information (route sheets, turn by turn, photos, staging areas, and exit strategy).

  • Create weekly schedule templates.

  • Update and maintain fixed route document.

  • Build and maintain master shuttle phone list.

  • Maintain action log of customer concerns identified and resolution outcome.

  • Provide monthly reporting of activities that could improve operational efficiency.

  • Data entry of daily route reports (driver time, compliance issues highlighted, help with compliance corrective actions for drivers)

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • 2-5 years dispatch and/or transportation logistics experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Class C Driver's License

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Organizational skills (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Additional Skills:

  • Individuals with an interest in becoming a licensed Corporate Driver will be given additional consideration for this role.
