Job Description:

The Sr. Commercial Business Banking Portfolio Manager is responsible for actively managing larger, more complex borrowing relationships with total credit exposure greater than $250M and provides oversight for loan portfolios in assigned markets.

The Sr. Commercial Business Banking Portfolio Manager works directly with Business Bankers, branches, and internal departments to help properly manage, maintain, and monitor the Business Banking loan portfolio.

Responsibilities include Relationship Income which is accomplished by utilizing Sales Management System (ECM). Directly and indirectly helping to generate additional relationship income through loan, deposit, fee income or additional cross-selling. Maintaining strong relationship with customers and continuously strives to assist RMs in reaching sales goals.

Responsibilities include Portfolio Management accomplished by actively managing maturities, renewals, amendments, modifications and extensions for the assigned loan portfolio. Working directly with customers to ensure covenant compliance and financial information is up to date.

Evaluating and analyzing financial performance of borrower and based on a variety of factors determining an appropriate risk rating. Preparing approval documents and file memos to ensure underwriting is compliant with current Credit Policy standards and practices.

Responsibilities include Asset Quality which includes no 3rd party downgrades (based on LR reports), timely renewals, limited use of admin extensions, no new NPAs, satisfactory credit file maintenance, adherence to all compliance, training and regulatory requirements.

This position receives assistance from the Business Banking Portfolio Manager and will at times provide peer coaching and guidance as needed to the Business Banking Portfolio Manager.

This position adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

College degree or equivalent work experience.
5-8 years relevant experience.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are needed to communicate with a wide range of internal and external contacts in a clear and concise manner.

Excels at building constructive and effective working relationships to diffuse high-tension situations with diplomacy and tact. Demonstrated ability to inform, educate and influence customers to achieve desired results.

Excellent PC skills including word processing, spreadsheets and ability to learn internal loan and deposit systems.

Superior analytical skills are needed to evaluate financial and credit documents, identify problem loans, and assist in planning and implementing the actions needed to protect the organization from losses.

High degree of knowledge of credit products offered, internal policies and procedures & regulatory requirements.

Sound objective decision making ability and the ability to prioritize work in a fast paced environment to meet internal and external needs

Ability to successfully provide guidance when needed to less experienced Business Banking Portfolio Managers.

The Manager, Care Management and Patient Experience. is responsible for managing all existing Care Management and Patient Experience programs and developing new ones to fulfill Benevera's mission of improving patient care and lowering health care costs. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: * Develop Care Management programs that address the needs of different populations (commercial fully-insured, self-insured, Medicaid expansion, and Medicare Advantage) and which align with population health initiatives that cut across populations (e.g., reducing avoidable inpatient admissions, reducing avoidable emergency department visits, etc.). Build effective working relationships with the Care Management and healthcare teams at the various practices and hospitals where patients receive care. * Contribute to Benevera Health's business and strategic plans, including establishing and meeting goals and initiatives for the Care Management program * Develop, monitor, and continually improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach rates, engagement rates, patient satisfaction, utilization/cost impact, clinical impact, and staff workload for the Care Management program * Develop and implement annually a Patient Engagement Plan to maximize the number of patients we reach, activate, and graduate and how goals will be met in these areas. Develop best practice protocols and guidelines that address patient needs at different points on the health and wellness spectrum – lifestyle management services to keep the healthy well, interventions for those with emerging health risks, interventions for those with high health risks, and interventions for those at the end of life. * Develop and implement a Quality Assurance Plan to ensure Benevera is providing best-in-class Care Management services to its patients and accounts. Lead Benevera in meeting and maintaining NCQA and other quality metrics by understanding accreditation requirements, creating/editing processes to meet requirements and working with supervisors to maintain regular case review activity and documentation requirements. Develop and keep updated all Care Management workflows and documentation (e.g., technical configuration of Care Management module, Intake Channels and Registry Guide, Quick Reference Guides, insurance benefit info., etc.) * Develop and refine workflows that balance the need for standardization of Benevera Health's Care Management process across all health systems and the need to integrate and align with a specific health system. * Stay up-to-date on events and trends germane to Benevera Health, including population health, health data and analytics, care management, and value-based care. Review healthcare trends and develop a long-range strategy for Care Management and Patient Experience at Benevera Health based on evolving trends. * Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with others, and make a difference every day! * Other duties and projects as assigned. WHAT YOU NEED: * Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or enough management experience in a health and human services field in lieu of academic degree * Working knowledge of Population Health, Care Management, Alternative Payment Models (APMs), and CMS's MACRA Quality Payment Program * Established knowledge and work within value based and managed care models preferred * Knowledge of performance management, tracking and improvement inclusive of appropriate NCQA, STARS, HEDIS, CAHPS, evidence-based quality measures and patient experience surveys, preferred * Knowledge of principles of population health, risk stratification, evidence-based practice and simulation/ modeling of care models preferred * Experience in multi-modality technology and/or motivation & willingness to become adept to using technology * Forward-looking and proactive thinker with proven ability to articulate opportunities and business cases.
