Combo Pipe Welder/Plumber/Pipefitter

Job Description Job Description ULG Skilled Trades has an immediate need for Combo Pipe Welders, Plumbers and Pipefitters for positions across Dallas, TX JOB DETAILS: PAY: $28-$34/hour (depending on trade & experience) STARTS : ASAP pending resume review process HOURS : 40 hours a week DURATION : Long-Term SCOPE/DUTIES:

Type of Facility: Industrial, and commercial facilities. Steel mills, ethanol plants, food & beverage processing, paper mills, car plants, and packaging facilities.

Pipe Welders and Pipefitters: Will be tasked with working with stainless and carbon pipes. Scope ranges from industrial shop / production welding to large-scale industrial jobsites.

Pipefitters duties will be laying out, fabricating, assembling, and installing stainless and carbon industrial piping systems. Pipe welders will be tig, stick, mig, or flux core welding any variety of carbon, stainless or aluminum pipe depending on the assignment. May be required to install, modify, or make repairs to pipe, boilers, towers, exchanges or furnaces.

Plumbers: Must be able to install, tie in, layout, sweat and braze copper, perform rough-in, and groove and thread pipe. Duties will include Inspecting, locating, and marking the positions of pipes, connections, and passage holes in walls in floors, as well as running cast-iron pipe, PVC, CPVC, PEX, Victaulic SS.
