Combinating Clerk

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Combinating Clerk for the 3rd shift (09:30 PM - 6:00AM) based in our Indianapolis, IN manufacturing facility. The Combinating Clerk is responsible for combinating, capping, and testing key cores by hand. The Combinating Clerk will also verify the accuracy of materials and test the materials for compliance with customer requirements.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $16/hr - $18.50/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Combinate, cap, and rework key cores

• Assist the Combinating Machinist in running & maintaining machine

• Perform stamping of keys and cores, and the cutting of keys

• Test completed material for proper operation and accuracy

• Maintain accurate records of combinating transactions

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs

• Ability to use hands for fine manipulation of materials

WHAT WE PREFER

• Previous experience in an assembly/production environment.

• Mechanical aptitude

• Basic understanding of math preferred.

• Lean skills preferred.
