Combat Rescue Helicopter Training Systems Engineer
KBR is seeking an experienced systems engineer to support Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH), HH-60W, Training System. The U.S.
Air Force program of record calls for 113 helicopters to replace the Air Force's aging HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters, which perform critical combat search and rescue and personnel recovery operations for all U.S. military services and allies. The HH-60W introduces capability advancements to better support the full range of combat rescue and other special missions. This position will collaborate with the CRH Program Office to provide a range of systems engineering support, inclusive of, but not limited, to review of technical artifacts for the airworthiness certification and System Verification Review requirements. Additionally, this position will provide technical management and work as a team to help prioritize the most urgent artifacts reviews to maintain program schedule.
This position does require frequent travel to Broken Arrow, OK where the training system is located.
Required Skills & Experience
Education: A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution is required. Advanced degree (or professional certification) strongly desired.
Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated engineering experience in a DoD program is required. Knowledge of Air Force/AFLCMC Systems Engineering process, Airworthiness process, Risk Management process, System Safety Process, Configuration Management process, Deficiency Report (DR) process, Safety Risk Process.
