Overview:

The Co-Manager role is to support the Store Manager in achieving store sales and operational goals. The Co-Manager drives sales thru strong selling behaviors, ensuring team is aware of all KPI's, selling goals and excellent customer service. Co-Manager executes operational processes and objectives in compliance with A'GACI standards and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership ability

  • Assist in recruiting efforts

  • Ensure all operational responsibilities are carried out for both opening and closing procedures

  • Maintain standards of operations, visual presentation, security/shortage control, and human resources

  • Make sure all Team Members adhere to company's policies and guidelines

  • Evaluate Team Member performance and identify hiring and training needs

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functional and presentable

  • Delegate tasks effectively

  • Participate in weekly meetings with the store staff and maintain daily communications

  • Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are upheld throughout the entire store

  • Build the business and drive sales

  • Help manage and control payroll

  • Supervise and motivate Team to perform their best

  • Performs special projects and other job related duties as assigned

  • Act as store's representative and set an example for all Team Members

  • Handle complaints from customers

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 1 year plus specialty retail management experience with a proven track record of success

  • Proven leadership abilities and effective problem solving skills

  • Strong organizational and outstanding customer service skills

  • Strong communication and follow-through skills

  • A love for current fashion trends and fast paced environments

  • Ability to properly train and motivate team

  • Ability to successfully implement loss prevention initiatives

  • Ability to successfully roll-out merchandise initiatives

  • Excellent recruiting and selection

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work around cleaning chemicals this job requires up to 8 hours constant activity such as walking, squatting, climbing, reaching, and carrying, kneeling, standing, stretching, bending, among other possible activities.
