Expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of the specific course. Preferred Experience & Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Required Experience & Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Master's degree in a related field is preferred.

Doctorate degree in related field is preferred for upper division (300 and 400 level) courses.

The successful applicant is required to complete a background check. Any offer of employment is contingent on the background check.

It is the policy of the University of Alaska Fairbanks that all employees are required to attend training to meet the requirements of the position and to complete the required training within a specified period of time to remain employed at UAF. Salary Information:

This is a part-time, exempt temporary position. Salary is dependent upon the course being taught.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
