College Help (Summer 2020): Multiple job openings across several shifts for students to fill various general laborer roles in our Orrville manufacturing facility
and follow all safe practices
Able to perform general laborer duties
Able to read and interpret technical training materials
Able to give and discern the various visual and audible alarms and signals for equipment operation, evacuation, fires, etc.
Able to operate essential material handling equipment (forklift, hand trucks, etc.)
Work an 8- or 12-hour shift on a 7/24 basis
Capable of standing on a concrete floor for up to 12 hours
Work with and around hot water and cleaning chemicals and perform all sanitation duties
Able to work in areas of extreme temperatures - Hot and Cold
Move ingredient materials manually and with power equipment (in quantities up to 500 lbs.)
Able to operate, perform "basic maintenance," and troubleshoot equipment which includes the following physical activities: climbing, standing, bending, twisting and moving around stairs, ladders, platforms and various packaging and processing equipment
Use basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills etc.
Lift objects up to 75 pounds
Other duties assigned by management that have been approved for college help
Must be at least 18 years of age by start of employment
Must meet attendance requirement and available to work between either May 18th OR June 1st through August 17th
Works well in a team environment
Able to communicate well (verbal and written)
Self-motivated, detail oriented, and can work independently with minimal direct supervision
