Job Summary

Job Summary

College and Career Development Specialists will develop specific career exploration and Work-Based Learning (WBL) activities for students served in schools and by the College and Career Readiness Department. The position includes, but is not limited to: creating WBL opportunities for students and teachers such as arranging guest speakers and industry tours, creating, delivering and evaluating work readiness certification programs, and providing essential skills workshops to students in classrooms served by the College and Career Readiness Department.

Applicants should have a fundamental understanding of the pre-employment process including job search, applications, resumes and interviewing. This position will be working with youth ages 16-24 with the goal of preparing and supporting the youth in successful employment opportunities.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a valid California driver's license. Preferred knowledge/experience with career technical education (CTE) and/or transition services.
