Collections Specialist

We are seeking a Credit & Collections Analyst who is familiar with the collections process. You must be extremely detail-oriented, eager to learn new technologies, and open to changing processes. You will be responsible for posting payments and making collection calls.

Your Role:

  • Research and resolve payments for all customers by making up to 80 collection calls a day.

  • Ensure aging accounts don't go past 60 days by investigating and reconciling customer accounts as related to payments.

  • Provide stellar customer service by replying to and resolving customer correspondence.

  • Update customer accounts with billing or other collection information as needed.

  • Clarify, educate, manage, and explain company service options, fees, and processes to customers.

  • Work independently yet cohesively with the team toward the overall success of the company.

  • Reconciliation of customer accounts, explanation of contract, payment, and billing commencement terms, assistance with answering customer product & service inquiries, and providing resolutions.

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing customers.

  • Review and analyze account statements and provide clients with accurate account information.

  • Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting client information and analyzing customer's needs.

Your Background:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Collections is required.

  • Experience in customer service or support roles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications [Word, Excel] or GSuite products.

  • Excel experience is required (Pivot tables, formulas, and reporting required).

  • Preferred familiarity with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamic, or other accounting systems.

  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
