Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts

R+L Carriers is currently seeking a Collections Specialist at our Ypsilani, MI Service Center. The Collections Specialist position will be responsible for collecting the maximum amount of overdue funds from customers, which may include a variety of collection techniques, legal claims, and the selective use of outside collection services.

Responsibilities will include:

• Review multiple billing queues to determine credit, authorize collect shipments and identify necessary billing changes.

• Coordinate necessary billing changes with Corrections.

• Communicate with internal and external contacts for resolution assistance as needed.

• Taking driver and customer calls

• Taking credit card payments

• Answering phones

• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Must be computer literate

• Must be professional, self-motivated, energetic, and have excellent attendance.

• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Must be result-oriented and solution-driven.
