If you're interested, contact Accountemps today. This short term temporary-to-fulltime Collections Specialist position is available in the Midvale, Utah area. How you will make an impact

  • Handle inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

  • Oversee and update customer files to ensure data accuracy

  • Act as liaison in maintaining quality service to the customer and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

  • Guarantee the processing of payments

  • Process bankruptcy filings correctly when received

  • Abide by all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act

  • Direct all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlines

  • Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, including skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and make arrangements for payment

  • Record all customer payments to the correct reports


  • Prior experience using accounting software

  • 2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to analyze customer accounts and make decisions based on those analyses

  • Deep understanding of oil and gas revenue reporting

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounts receivable aging

  • Expertise in revenue recognition

The Payroll Process Specialist handles all aspects of payroll processing. This includes entering data for new hire set ups and pay adjustments, coordinating with divisional payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely pay for providers, and answering any questions regarding paychecks. We're looking for people who: * Review and input data for pay corrections, reimbursements and deductions. * Follow established procedures to balance pay codes. * Perform routine payroll audits and resolve audit items. * Comply with garnishment/child support orders and levies. * Process manual ACH checks as submitted by the divisions. * Answer questions regarding paychecks and speak to state and federal taxes with support from the payroll tax team. * Review new hire documents for completion and enter data into payroll software. * Perform all routine payroll tasks with guidance from payroll process documentation. * Comfortably navigate through various payroll systems with guidance from management and payroll documentation. * Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of CHG. * Other duties as assigned by management. Your role. * Works well independently as well as in a team environment. * Excellent problem solving skills, phone skills and email etiquette. * Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and with reasonable speed. * Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and manage time effectively. * Maintain neat, legible, organized records. * Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and co-workers. * Basic understanding of multi state payroll and payroll taxations. * Strong computer skills, preferably MS Word and Excel.
