Job Description
Is this you?
Serve as a key member of the Collaborative Care team, which consists of the OB/GYN provider and a psychiatric consultant. The CCC will support the mental and physical health care of patients, closely coordinate care with the patient's medical provider, and the psychiatric consultant where appropriate.
Have a clearly distinguished role from a specialty mental health therapist practice model.
Work with women on presenting concerns across the adult lifespan. These concerns range from pre-conception (e.g., fertility issues), to pregnancy (e.g., anxiety in pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, pregnancy loss), to postpartum (e.g., postpartum depression) through menopause.
Employ a population-based practice management model with flexibility to be interrupted to respond to urgent/emergency situations and "curbside consults".
Screen/assess patients for mental health conditions common in women, facilitate patient engagement and follow up care with the support of a dedicated behavioral care coordinator.
Deliver brief behavioral interventions using evidence-based techniques such as problem-solving treatment, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, or other modalities as appropriate.
Participate in regularly scheduled caseload consultation with the psychiatric consultant and communicate resulting treatment recommendations to the patient's medical provider.
Track patient engagement and clinical outcomes using a registry.
In consultation with the patient, OB/GYN provider, and psychiatric consultant, facilitate treatment plan changes for patients who are not improving as expected and who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health care.
Day shift with no call coverage
Clinicians who do best in this setting enjoy a quick pace, think well on their feet, and value interdisciplinary work.
What we offer:
Comprehensive clinical training in the Collaborative Care Model and ongoing clinical consultation and mentorship
Dynamic work environment
Strong work-life balance
Above average compensation
Dedicated non-clinical support staff to assist with administrative duties
Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and HSA plans
401K Plan with generous employer contribution
Telehealth training and support provided
Existing health plan participation is not necessary
