Facilitates the planning, execution, and training of Asset Protection (AP) associates on best practice standard operating procedures within the department. Assists with planning and execution of day to day core role responsibilities of AP operations. Provides support to the AP officer team by answering operational/systems questions, conducting performance observations, and assisting in the performance of Asset Protection associates through active coaching and development.
1.Develops training schedules utilizing all available resources to provide complete, thorough, and ongoing training for AP associates on departmental best practice standard operating procedures.
2.Works collaboratively with DCAP Supervisors to assist in the execution of the daily workload.
3.Monitors and audits associates work to provide guidance to the AP officer team.
4.Communicates workload distribution within the department as set by supervision.
5.Actively supports/drives change and communicates areas for improvement within the department.
6.Utilizes electronic equipment and/or soft / hard copy formats to accurately record assigned operational audits, inbound/outbound visitor information, safety related audits/safety infractions, C-TPAT compliance audits and other assignments set by supervision.
7.Is self-directed in the absence of a supervisor/manager participating and contributing core role responsibilities holding self-accountable for results.
8.Exhibits reasonable care to safely perform job duties.
9.Performs general housekeeping duties within the department and throughout the facility to ensure a safe and appropriate working environment.
1.High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years Asset Protection Distribution Center experience preferred.
2.Must have a valid driver license
3.Demonstrated knowledge of Asset Protection core roles at all posts with minimal follow-up or coaching required.
4.Working knowledge of (Manhattan) Warehouse Management System, experience with Microsoft Office, core abilities in Word and Excel. Outlook, Power Point knowledge a plus.
5.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills needed.
6.Demonstrate presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
7.Maintain a positive working relationship with all associates within immediate work group, other distribution Centers, and General Office.
8.Perform physical activity at a sustained pace within a Distribution Center environment where walking, bending and lifting (minimum of 60lbs.) are required.
